We are proud to partner with, and support the following organisations.

Australia and New Zealand Driverless Vehicle Initiative

TMC is a proud partner of the Australia and New Zealand Driverless Vehicle Initiative (ADVI) - the peak industry advisory body that services the wide ecosystem of automated vehicle activities across Australia and New Zealand. ADVI offers a unique opportunity for government, industry, businesses and researchers to collaborate and position Australia and New Zealand amongst the world leaders in the development and deployment of driverless vehicle technology.

ITS Australia

TMC is a corporate member of Intelligent Transport Systems Australia (ITS Australia), the industry body that promotes the development and deployment of advanced technologies to deliver safer, more efficient and sustainable transport across all public and private modes – air, sea, road, and rail. ITS Australia advocates the application of communication, data processing and electronic technologies for in-vehicle, vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure and mode-to-mode systems to increase transportation safety and sustainability, reduce congestion, and improve the performance and competitiveness of Australia’s networks.

UNSW Australia

Our Director, David Yee is Adjunct Senior Lecturer at UNSW Ausrtalia, in the Research Centre for Integrated Transport Innovation (rCITI), based in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and represents a strategic effort that unites and extends the wide range of transport research across the university campus.

rCITI aims to reshape the field of Multi-modal Transport Engineering and Planning by introducing new innovative techniques and technologies, which enhance society, by integrating across methodological disciplines and contextual considerations.

The Centre bases all research activities around five core research pillars:

  • Transport Planning – Find better methods to plan integrated transport systems.

  • ITS Communications – Improve transport systems through communication technology.

  • Infrastructure – Develop new materials, techniques, and tools to improve infrastructure.

  • Energy/Fuel – Find ways to utilise energy/fuel more efficiently in the transport system.

  • Computational Sustainability – Find better ways to assess transport systems to improve sustainability.

Waze Connected Citizens Program

TMC is a Waze Connected Citizen Program (CCP) partner. Waze is the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app. Drivers in share real-time traffic and road information, saving everyone time and fuel on their daily commute. As a CCP Partner, we gain access to Waze's real-time, anonymous, proprietary incident and congestion information directly from the source: drivers themselves.

Standards Australia

Our Managing Director, David Yee, is a Committee Member of IT-023-01 - Transport Information and Control Systems Architecture.

Pymble Robotics

TMC is a proud foundational sponsor of the Pymble Ladies' College Robotics Team. The team participates in various robotics competitions using a variety of platforms including LEGO, VEX, FTC and FRC. Through this initiative we are encouraging a focus on STEM subjects — science, technology, engineering and mathematics and help inspire more females to pursue careers in these traditionally male-dominated areas.
